Overview of Sludge Paddle Dryer Project
The sludge paddle dryer is a special sludge dryer specially designed by our plant for the sludge generated by urban sewage treatment plants, printing and dyeing plants, paper mills, electroplating plants, thermal power plants, chemical plants, etc., to solve the troubles of sludge for you problem. Generally, the initial moisture of sludge is 80%, the final moisture after drying is 10%-50%, and the water content of about 30% is more common. The dried sludge is in the form of loose powder and can be mixed with coal powder to be directly burned into the boiler. The calorific value of the sludge is about 1500-2000kcal, which can save energy and be reused. Some sludge can also be made into fertilizer and buildings after drying Materials, or direct landfill will not cause secondary pollution, turn waste into treasure, and fully meet the environmental protection requirements. This equipment has low energy consumption, and the heat source can be heated by steam, thermal oil, and flue gas (evaporating 1kg of water consumes 1.1 heat -1.3kg steam) has the advantages of low power consumption, smooth operation, low noise, and low labor consumption. It is basically fully automatic production.

Working principle of sludge dryer
Wedge-shaped hollow blades are densely arranged on the hollow shaft, and the heat medium flows through the blades through the hollow shaft. The heat transfer area within the unit effective volume is very large, the temperature of the heat medium is from -40℃ to 320℃, it can be steam or liquid type: such as hot water, thermal oil, etc. Indirect conduction heating, without carrying air to take away heat, heat is used to heat materials. The heat loss is only the heat dissipation to the environment through the insulation layer of the body. The wedge-shaped paddle heat transfer surface has a self-cleaning function. The relative movement of the material particles and the wedge-shaped surface produces a scrubbing effect, which can wash away the attached materials on the wedge-shaped surface, so that the clean heat transfer surface is always maintained during operation. The shell of the paddle dryer is Ω type, and generally two to four hollow stirring shafts are arranged in the shell. The shell has a sealed end cover and an upper cover to prevent the material dust from leaking and fully play its role.


The heat transfer medium flows through the shell jacket and the hollow stirring shaft through the rotary joint. The hollow stirring shaft has different internal structures according to the type of heat medium to ensure the heat transfer effect.
